Moivaro Lodge is located about 7km to the east of Arusha, well away from the main road in a lush fertile area of shamba farms and coffee plantations. This lovely small lodge makes for a really pleasant and homely base for climbs and safaris. As well as the considerable grounds and pool, guests are able to walk amongst the beautiful foothills of Mount Meru.

Arusha is the starting point for many safaris to the famous Serengeti National Park, the unique Ngorongoro Crater, the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m), Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park.
Just 20 km away, in Arusha National Park, you can enjoy spectacular views from the top of Mount Meru (4565m), or go out for a day’s walking safari amongst the giraffes, buffalos, elephants, monkeys and the rich vegetation, accompanied by a local ranger.
