Terms and Conditions of Safari Holiday:
When booking your holiday/Trekking with WORLD TOURS AND SAFARIS TANZANIA, please quote your intended date of arrival and departure, the number of people traveling and tour name and/or code. This will help us meet your needs precisely and minimize unnecessary correspondence. Please pay at least a 50% deposit 3 months before you travel and the balance at least a month before your arrival date. For those intending to do Kilimanjaro trekking, using Marangu Route reservation in highly needed 4 – 6 month in advance. All 3*- 5* Luxury Hotel/Lodge/Tented Camps and flight is also booked 4 – 6 month in advance.
Payment & Cancellation Policy:
A deposit of 50-60% of the total invoice is required to secure your reservations, once being confirmed to you.
The balance of payment is due 20-30 days prior to your date of arrival in Africa or safari Commencements/begin. If your booking is made and confirmed within 45 days of your arrival date, full payment will be required immediately.
Payments can be made either by Visa, Master Card via Telegraphic Transfer to our bank account to be provided.
Payment by visa card attracts a 7% bank surcharge. We are in process of this kind of payments as Barclay’s are not using this procedure.
Cancellation must be notified in writing and will take effect the day it is received by WORLD TOURS AND SAFARIS TANZANIA. The following penalties will apply:-
Cancellation more than 60 days prior to your travel – forfeit deposit.
Cancellation between 30 and 60 days – 50% of land cost.
Cancellation within 30 days – no refund on land cost.
No refund is available for cancellations after commencement of tour arrangements or on any services not used.General Booking Conditions. We also consider some of the cancellation reason.

Note: Some itinerary components may require a 50% deposit in order to confirm space. In these cases, the non-refundable deposit amount may be adjusted upward.
Passports And Visas:
You are required to ensure that your passport and travel documentation is in order and that you have obtained the necessary visas for your journey. Should you require assistance on this matter we will be pleased to make recommendations. Visa is obtained in all Tanzania Airport, and Borders on entry.
International/Domestic Flight/Air Bookings:
Reconfirmation of flight bookings is the responsibility of the traveler. As tour arrangements may be booked to connect with international and domestic Air flights it is your responsibility to keep us updated as to your flight times and numbers.
Travel Insurance:
It is a condition of booking one of our tours that the traveler is adequately insured for the full duration of the tour in respect of illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and curtailment. The choice of insurer is the sole discretion of the client.

Identification And Immigration:
Clients are advised to travel with government-issued identification and proof of citizenship for all party members at all times. All customer, traveling by Air, Ferry, Railway, Road in Tanzania will be required to present a valid passport. Parents traveling with children and/or infants are advised to travel with identification and proof of citizenship for each child. If crossing an international border when both parents are not present, the traveling parent may be required to provide a notarized statement from the other parent allowing the child to travel Outside/inside of the Country.
Amendments To Confirmed Arrangements:
WORLD TOURS AND SAFARIS TANZANIA offers its clients customized packages of land and /Kilimanjaro Trekking or Air services using various suppliers. The price of your travel arrangements is subject to the possibility of changes and surcharges beyond our control and may occur in connection with governmental action, currency exchange rate fluctuation and increases in suppliers’ prices.
While WORLD TOURS AND SAFARIS TANZANIA will use its best endeavors to provide all tours as confirmed, reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made without notice if deemed necessary or advisable by our experienced staff.
Responsibility:
In the case of Africa, WORLD TOURS AND SAFARIS TANZANIA acts only as a coordinator for all passengers with respect to services provided by underlying Operators, including Hotels, Lodges, Camps, Restaurants, Balloons, Canoeing, Road Transport providers, Professional Guides, Air Charter Services, Boating, Bush Walking, Camel Safari, Horse Safari, Trekking and climbing activities. All bookings with WORLD TOURS AND SAFARIS TANZANIA are therefore subject to the limitations of liability imposed by the underlying Operators involved in the trip. Payment of a deposit will indicate an acceptance of these booking conditions by the Customer/Passenger/Client.
Weather:
Safety is our primary concern. Please note that on some tours, it may be necessary to modify the itinerary due to weather. If so, we will endeavor to add other sights and activities to replace those omitted. If the itinerary is modified to one that is less expensive than the original, the client will be refunded the difference in cost between the original and modified itineraries. If the itinerary is modified to one that is more expensive than the original, the client’s advance approval will be obtained and the client will be charged the difference between the original and modified itineraries. If a tour is cancelled and no substitute tour is available or acceptable to the client, the client will be refunded the full cost of the tour. The client is responsible for all additional transportation or lodging costs that are necessitated by weather. In addition, if a client has planned to travel by air to a tour or lodging facility that can also be accessed by ground transportation, there will be no refund if the air transportation is cancelled and the client chooses not to access the tour or lodging facility by ground transportation. There are no refunds if a tour operates but the client decides due to weather or any other reason not to participate. We strongly recommend travel insurance to help protect against unforeseen circumstances.

• 1. The company and its agents act only as agents of the Customer/Guest/Tourist in all matters relating to Tours, Transport and hotel/accommodation and shall not be liable for any illness, injury or death of the client or any person named on the booking form.
• 2. The company will not be held responsible for any delays, cancellations, or non- acceptance of reservations. While we do our best to ensure that each program advertised is properly arranged, we have no direct control over services provided by sub-contractors.
• 3. The company reserves the right to employ sub-contractors to carry out all or part of the services agreed upon, as well as change the client’s itinerary should ground conditions such as weather, necessitate.
• 4. The laws of the country in which the tour takes place, and no other country, govern the company’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicle.
• 5. While the company provides all the services to the best of its ability for your comfort and safety, it will be noted that all safaris are taken at the risk of the client(s).
