Equator Hotel
Equator Hotel is a 24 room property situated in lush green gardens overlooking the Themi River in Arusha. The Hotel is located on BOMA ROAD just behind T.T.C.L. building and adjacent to the Arusha Municipal Council. It is hardly 5 minute walking distance to the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC).
Away from the hustle and bustle of city street traffic, the hotel has a large car park with 24 hours security.
In the hotel’s well trimmed gardens, hotel guests can quietly relax or just sit and recap on their business/conference material in utmost tranquility.
In the evenings the garden is ideal for cocktail parties for as many as 400 – 500 delegates. Over the weekends the garden is also very popular with wedding receptions, birthday parties, and other types of private functions. During warm summer weekends family outings to enjoy African, Continental and Indian Cuisine are served with your favourite drinks are a common feature in our garden.
All our guest rooms are spacious and have a furnished private balcony, bath and shower, WC, telephone and satellite TV. Room configurations catering for single, double and triple occupancy are available. For families with young children, rooms with interconnecting doors are also available.
RESTAURANT & BAR
Spacious with a tasteful décor and layout, our restaurant caters for African, Continental and Indian cuisine served on a la carte as well as buffet. A full Anglo-American breakfast is served to hotel residents and other patrons.
A fully stocked bar adjoining the restaurant is open from morning till 23.00 hours every day. Satellite TV viewing and tasteful piped music is handy for the enjoyment of all bar patrons.
CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS
Tucked at the very quiet end of the hotel building and commanding a view to the garden is our conference room with a capacity of up to 150 delegates (theatre style). Owing to its closeness the AICC this room is also an ideal venue for break-away task committees emanating from the AICC Conferences.
